Hi,

we have here a strange problem.
After Upgrade JunOS from 8.5 to 9.3 on our M20-Router the FPCs case
errors and go off-line.

Enclosed is an excerpt from the logfile (/var/log/messages):
----
ssb CM(0): Slot 0: Unrecoverable error; probe failed
ssb CM(0): Slot 0: No response from FPC interface manager
ssb CM(0): Slot 0: No response from FPC chassis manager
chassisd[4429]: CHASSISD_FRU_EVENT: scb_recv_slot_detach: detached FPC 0
chassisd[4429]: CHASSISD_IFDEV_DETACH_FPC: ifdev_detach(0)
ssb CM(0): Slot 0: Unrecoverable error; probe failed
ssb CM(0): Slot 0: No response from FPC interface manager
ssb CM(0): Slot 0: No response from FPC chassis manager
craftd[4431]: Major alarm set, Too many unrecoverable errors
ssb CM(0): Slot 0: Unrecoverable error; probe failed
ssb CM(0): Slot 0: Too many unrecoverable errors, going off-line
----

Has anyone an idea what the reason might be?

Regards,
Thomas Czarnetzki
