Hi,
Both DPCE-R and DPCE-R-Q present 8 queues per port accordingly to the "MX DPC Guide".
Is it hardware queues per physical port?
Or is it 8 queues per logical port (per instance, for a C-VLAN)?
In another document it's said that the DPC-R-Q can manage up to 64.000 queues per card or 16.000 per 10G/10x 1G ports (PFE).
Does anybody have a document/presentation with these capabilities better explained or depicted?
H-QoS is another messy topic as there is a lack of definition.
It's said that it's supported only with the DPCE-R-Q DPC, but someone told me that the "Cisco 7600 H-QoS" can be offered with the DPCE-R card.
Did anybody hear something like this?
Thanks!
BR,
João
