There are many legitimate reasons why you might need to advertise a
route learned from your IGP via BGP. Keeping a tidy IGP is commendable 
(though there are also many legitimate reasons why you carry extra 
routes in your IGP to act as nexthops for your other bgp routes, vs 
resetting everything to loopback), but IMHO refusing to configure 
advertise-inactive to keep your network working properly in the face of 
what is otherwise a relatively minor nit is pure masochism.
