One would think that they would just be proactive and send an email to this list indicating such a thing so we don't go back and forth with it. Think of the confusion that would've been eliminated.
I guess they are still latching into the whole 'social networking' thing.

We are currently upgrading our system to better support you. Over the next
week, you can expect the following:
* Our Self-Service Serial Number Entitlement Tool will be unavailable
until approximately 6pm PST (on Saturday, February 27.
* We are currently experiencing intermittent delays and error messages
for our Product Registration, User Registration, Subscription Registration,
E-Certificate Activation, SMART and Search Products and Contracts tools. We
are working to resolve these issues.
* Beginning on February 27, some of our Self-Service tools will be down
for maintenance from 6am to 6pm PST (2pm to 2am GMT) . For more information
on this maintenance, please visit
