Hi Guys,
Im having some issues rewriting a rpm service check that a previous engineer wrote for an M7i ( /me waves to Ian ).
The current oid for the m7i checks a probe called Probe1 and a test called ping-manchester. The oid looks like this
.1.3.6.1.4.1.2636.3.7.1.3.1.20.6.80.114.111.98.101.49.15.112.105.110.103.45.109.97.110.99.104.101.115.116.101.114
When doing an snmpwalk it will return a interger of 1 if the rpm check is successful or another value if failed.
I am trying to find the oid for a J series which does similar. The rpm prob for the J series looks like this:-
probe Probe1 {
test EDI {
probe-type icmp-ping;
target address 192.168.1.2;
probe-count 10;
test-interval 120;
The part describing the probe and test is 80.114.111.98.101.49.3.69.68.73 but I cannot find thethe part of the oid for before this. I have found somethings which return counter32 and OctetString but not an integer.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Nick
