[j-nsp] default Junos on EX4200s currently shipping

Dear List, and Juniper lurkers!

The EX4200s we have been purchasing lately are coming with Junos
11.2R1.2 installed from the factory. That version is totally
unusable. Various processes crash at the most trivial operations,
commits, and the CLI even crashes when editing the config (before
making any commit) in some cases. Yes, we change the software before
we deploy the switches, but I would hate to be an unsophisticated
customer who just expects the switch to mostly work right out of the
box. It's a PITA even for me to get software onto the things when
they are drop-shipped to POPs with connectivity and serial consoles
waiting.

Perhaps putting a Junos on the switches that is remotely stable when
shipping them out from the factory would be a good idea. I'm sure
this is obvious, but maybe the Juniper folks on the list could
communicate this obvious idea to the people who decide what version
ships on new units.

Merry Christmas!
