On ingress, traffic is equally shared across all member 
links, but that's because the remote device (a router) was 
doing the actual load sharing, and all the switch had to do 
is receive them.

On egress is where we had the problem. The switch simply 
wouldn't load share, despite the default hashing algorithm 
that couldn't be tweaked.

I'm not sure whether you're using your EX switches as IP 
boxes, but in our case, they are pure Layer 2 switches, 
forwarding only on MAC address. Maybe that's the difference.

We switched to Cisco switches and they worked. Switched back 
to the EX4200's, no joy. Switched back to the Cisco's, joy.
