[j-nsp] commit action

Hello all,
 
On a J-Series or SRX-3400 if a change is made to the configuration under the service and then a commit is executed what is the affect on the other daemons?
Specifically the RPD?    Are the routing tables rebuilt?    Are the sessions reset?
