That's the precise *opposite* of what I want to do (but is useful to 
know about).

I don't want to change the source address of the IP packet. I want to 
control which of the IPs on the interface are put into giaddr (because 
the interface has a public and private range, and the private one is 
being picked and is unroutable for replies).
