Have you got SNMP enabled in the apprioriate security zone?
For example:

'set security zones security-zone trust host-inbound-traffic system-services snmp'

Subject: [j-nsp] SNMP Problem in SRX240H

Hi,
I have an SRX240H configured with a 'Juniper' community string. The 'show snmp statistics' shows 0 packets input and output. I can ping the SNMP server and can ping from the SNMP server to the SRX. I have also tried removing the Juniper community, and the logs show a 'SNMPD_AUTH_FAILURE:
nsa_log_community: unauthorized SNMP community' error message. However, when I re-configure the community, I still get 0 packets in and out.

The SRX is configured for packet mode. The SNMP server is running PRTG

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Regards,
Saba.
