[j-nsp] ability to turn USB port on/off for MX routing engine?

This may seem like a totally random question, but does anyone know if
there is a way to disable/enable power to the USB port that is built into
the routing engine on the MX?

I have an application where it would be useful to flip the USB power on
and off. The USB device is not a hard disk so umount probably will not
work.

This is NOT to be confused with the "request system power-off media usb"
command that powers down the router and then forces the system to read the
USB for the next boot image.

Thanks.
