Hi Expert,
I am working on a CSC project, where 8 Queues QoS
model is implemented in the Customer Carrier and 4 Queues QoS model is
implemented in the Backbone Carrier. After doing some tests, we have noticed that
when a rewrite is applied at the Carrier Backbone, the EXP bit value is altered
for the two top labels hence the EXP value is lost when getting the packet at
the other end of the Customer Carrier.
I would like to know if there is a way to preserve the
EXP bit value (tunnel configuration or something) when the traffic is going
through the Carrier Backbone; or read the bottom label EXP bit (Customer VPN
label which wasn’t altered) at the
Customer Carrier.
Thanks in advance for your support and if more details
are needed, please let me know.
