No, those separate inputs are actually connected together in the power
supply. There is a description of that on the hardware documentation for
the QFX3600 (which uses the same DC power supply as the EX4550):

"*Caution: *The V+ terminals are shunted internally together, as are the V-
terminals. The same polarity terminal can be wired together from the same
source to provide an additional current path in a higher power chassis. Do
not connect the terminals to different sources."
For A/B use, install two separate power supplies.
