Official scaling numbers says 4,000 for L2TP on MX80.

PPPoE uses 2 IFL only when there is a VLAN per subscriber.

Thank you guys for your inputs. I have got it working. We have a little over 2000 subscribers for a particular area so the 4000 limit is not a concern.
