True to an extent.
Putting password ONLY in a web form so it cannot be attributed to a 
particular router/company/person - harmless. Use public VPN to hide Your 
source IP if You are concerned about security -

Putting password in a web form AFTER it was sent out to public mailing 
list (even though via Gmail) - not so good idea.
But I digress...
