Or perhaps to get MACsec support. At least if you select the "MacSec
Enabled" option in the "Type / OS" drop-down at the download page, the
only versions you will be able to select 13.2X50 (which is already EOL,
FWIW), 13.2X51, and 14.1X53. (Perhaps QFabric depends on MACsec?)

In any case I'd certainly stay on 12.3 on the EX for now unless I had a
extremely compelling reason not to...

As an aside, it makes me slightly concerned that there's only nine
months left before 12.3 reaches the EOE date, and yet there's no new
EEOL release available for the EX. I prefer to let new EEOL releases
mature for at least a year before upgrading to them, but it seems that
in order to do so this time around I'll have to stay on 12.3 past its
EOE (and possibly EOL) date. I'm not terribly happy about that either...
