Dear experts,

anybody ever hit PR. 10 74 084  ?



Any idea what does it means if I’ve an RE HD failing ?

Should I expect traffic disruption ?

Is switchover ok or not ?

PR description:

On 64 bits Junos image, gstat process might fail to start. Following log
message might be seen when issue happens:



router init: gstatd (PID 4004) started

router init: gstatd (PID 4004) exited with status=1

router init: gstatd is thrashing, not restarted .....

The gstatd process is used to monitor disk performance and make switch-over
decision. The following CLI command can be used to verify if the process is
running: user at host> show system processes extensive |match gstat
