That's funny.  There's not a use case, but it's testable towards industry certification... lol  ...i love knowing that I spend valuable time learning something that there won't be real world needs for... dang, I just felt like I was sitting in algebra class in high school wondering what in the world am I ever going to use this for

I guess Dave's answer about it just not being a requirement for L2 adjacency is good enough for me.
