     Well,

     IS-IS or OSPF?

     Q: And don't you need at least RSVP for the LDP signaling? But 
since he didn't change nothing beside the L2 switches...  Not relevant 
(maybe).

     I had a hard time passing IS-IS thru Extreme Switch, give up after 
5m and used OSPF for that segment of our Pre-Prod Lab.

     ( Since its only for a redundant MX it don't matter much to 
perfectly match Prod for that part )
