We use them as management network switches and use private VLANs for isolation. These have been on the EX2200 since a software update a while back. These are not on the EX2300 yet as far as I’m aware (and like the EX2200 early on no indication that they will be), so if you use private VLANs you may want to stick with the EX2200.
I don’t see any details on the Juniper site about the EX2200 EOL. Where are you seeing that?
