Yes, totally so.
But it's not the first time and won't be the last time that SSH setups
stop working "mysteriously" due to vendor decisions and/or bugs.
(To get back to this list: like the JunOS bug in, I think, 15.1X53-D59.4,
where configured user SSH keys end up being stored in the file system
with "root" permissions - so everything is configured correctly, but
SSH with key auth still doesn't work until you go to shell mode and
"chown -R user ~user/.ssh"...)
