Hey check it out... I just heard that Cisco is opening up recert with continuing education to associate, specialist and professional levels... on 2/24/2020

Not the same.
Seems that Cisco only offers continuing education as a recertification for CCIE level
"Eligibility - The Continuing Education Program will be available only for candidates with *Expert-level* certifications in Active or Suspend status as defined on the How to Recertify website."
Juniper does it for course attendance to recertify certs at any level !
“Taking any higher-level course will recertify the corresponding certification listed as well as all lower-level certifications within the same track”
Am I missing something ?
