Yup!
That's the one.
The router will let me set that but I didn't know if it would do anything or possibly be impacting.
Reading some of the documentation it says "prior joins are not redistributed" so i am guessing old stuff stays old, assuming I am not using the "automatic" option that can be included with the knob.

Has anyone tried running or are running PIM Join load balancing.
Most of the documentation I have read doesn't suggest it works for plain
multicast?
