Hi Aaron,
Are you doing subscriber services? In your first message you mention CPE,
so I presume so.
RADIUS accounting is what you’re looking for. If you have set up the BNG
well, you have your dhcp-local-server configured with authentication, and
have it configured to send RADIUS accounting. If you set it up with a
dual-stack-group it will send it in one packet for IPv4 and IPv6.
Syslog is very much not the tool for this job if you are doing subscriber
services. In an enterprise environment, *maybe*. But even then, probably
not.
