Hi,
*Dominica*
I've been in contact with Craig Nesty in Dominica and outlined what
we are working on.
* He is enthusiastic about it and extremely grateful.
* He was bit concerned if there was no accompanying power solution
such as solar especially given the electrical outage situation
and expected recovery time for the power infrastructure.
Craig is very technical. He is a communications regulator but a very
innovative engineer across internetworking and civil fields. He was
also the convenor of the ISOC Dominica Chapter. Martin you may
remember him from CARPIF May 2015 Barbados

*Shipping Consideration*
ISOC Barbados Chapter is collecting and planning to send a
shipment of typical necessities to ISOC Dominica. The projected
timeline is about 2 weeks but they seem to be regular relief
shipments from Barbados to Dominica. I'm exploring if it would
be feasible to include the AP package for Dominica in one of those.
Craig had some questions:
* Are you shipping a wireless mesh network?
* What is the user capacity
* What is the range?
I have some questions:
From

it appears that the recipient has to:
1. Provide the Ethernet cabling for the interconnects: switch to
APs, uplink if Ethernet?
2. Provide the switch?
Thanks. Have a great day!
Regards,
