From the news reports and demand, there's a gap in emergency internet services. Not just $bigcompany opening their wifi access, but in managing the limited amount expected to come up incrementally. While the landing stations are intact or being restored, access networks are hurting. Think broken cable plants, soaked distribution electronics and lack of up and operationg IP in measurable quantity. There are a few access deployments being prepared for shipment. These configurations should help expand wifi access where IP is available and control capacity to expand it even greater. Once we get some experience we''ll open it up to more help.
