If anyone is interested in relocation to, or is already located close to the east central Illinois region, The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is looking for a Network Engineer / Senior Network Engineer.
We have many interesting projects including a fiber to the home deployment ( http://www.uc2b.net ) as well as the opportunity to work on a very large campus network (~380 buildings) supporting everything from small buildings to 100G WAN across the state. Members of this team also support our regional network (ICCN; http://iccn.illinois.edu/status/weather-maps/ ) from the optical layer (DWDM) up to L3.
Champaign-Urbana is a twin city with a population of ~120k and is a great place to live with a low cost of living, family friendly atmosphere with a wealth of things to do locally and even more within a short driving distance. Additionally, the university offers fantastic benefits and has no shortage of interesting things to work on.
Please pass it on to anyone you think may be interested. The search closes on 01/25/2013
