Our client located in Bedford MA in need of a Senior Network Engineer for either an initial 2 month contract or a 3 month contract-to-hire opportunity. The Network Engineer is responsible for the engineering, operation, and maintenance of a company-wide network including analysis and support for one or more of the following: routers, switches, hubs and VPN concentrators. This consultant will work closely with others within Network Services and will provide third-tier technical support to various departments and users with regards to their network.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
* Strong background utilizing Cisco Routing & Switching platforms and products.
* Experience with Switch Replacement (Core and Access)
* Experience with Core Dynamic Routing Redesign (OSPF)
* QOS design and implementation experience
* CCNP or higher certification/s
HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS:
* Ability to perform infrastructure related projects including:

o Firewall replacement,

o Cisco ASA Firewalls
* Security infrastructure experience including analysis and support for one or more of the following:

o Firewalls,

o VPN concentrators,

o Intrusion detection systems,

o Event correlation systems
