Hi All,

I’m posting on here again as it seems the best place to get some well qualified applicants – I have had some success posting to this list so here we go again!

I am currently looking to hire a full-time Senior IP Routing and Switching engineer. CCIE and/or JNCIE would be great, but a well presenting/qualified CCNP or JNCIP will work as well. This position functions as a senior member of the Network Engineering team for a facilities based service provider in the state of Alaska – a wonderful place to work with many exciting opportunities! The sky is the limit in this position as the group has responsibility for the IP/MPLS core as well as Carrier Ethernet solutions and medium to large business network design. The location is based in Anchorage and we would expect the individual to work from here and offer relocation for the right candidate. The work environment is fast paced but enjoyable. The right individual will have a good combination of advanced technical and design skills, deployment experience preferably in a service provider environment, and the ability to present well to internal and external customers. Strong customer facing skills and experience is high on the preferred qualification list.

I am also looking to hire a full time Senior Engineer that is heavily systems focused. This position will be in the same group though their primary responsibility will be the design, care and feeding of the existing and newly deployed backend systems. The ideal candidate would also have a strong networking background to help out on the network project as that is the groups primary function. Most of the current engineers have some systems knowledge and are the ones that support the current systems.

I’ve had a job open for quite a while as it seems the recruiting agency’s don’t have many people willing to relocate to Alaska with solid technical service-provider and customer experience – seems to be a tough combination to find. Looking for a rewarding, challenging opportunity in a beautiful place – here it is! Currently I cannot support sponsoring H1B or the like.

Drop me an email and hopefully a resume if you think you’re a good fit. I’m excited to hear from you.

-Dan
