CCIE and/or JNCIE would be great, but a well presenting/qualified CCNP or JNCIP will work as well. This position functions as a senior member of the Network Engineering team for a facilities based service provider in the state of Alaska – a wonderful place to work with many exciting opportunities! The sky is the limit in this position as the group has responsibility for the IP/MPLS core as well as Carrier Ethernet solutions and medium to large business network design. They also support the data portions of CDMA and LTE network backhaul builds. The location is based in Anchorage and we would expect the individual to work from here and offer relocation for the right candidate. The work environment is fast paced but enjoyable. The right individual will have a good combination of advanced technical and design skills, deployment experience preferably in a service provider environment, and the ability to present well to internal and external customers. Strong customer facing skills and experience is high on the preferred qualification list.

I’ve had this job open for quite a while as it seems the recruiting agency’s don’t have many people willing to relocate to Alaska with solid technical service-provider and customer experience – seems to be a tough combination to find.
