there's been an explosion of tools in the past year in RU spheres (e.g. 
UA), CN and elsewehere that has not been met with corresponding analysis 
and tracking. we all lack hours and person-power, sadly. that we don't 
know which is behind this tells me we're missing a lot and it'll be a 
while to figure out how to catch up.

i'm even too busy to describe the botnets i have caught and characterized. 
:-/ sadly those aren't up to these attacks.
