[nsp-sec] Sigcomm/imc question - capitan farber @cert

Glad you found this useful, a good deal of work went into the initial stages of
research. Things were looking pretty promising, particularly when you combine this
with a Hilbert-curve-style "proximity" visualization. However, the initial cut of
data sources we were using for uncleanliness didn't have the breadth we wanted to
make the jump from academic to operational. As we were cultivating the data
sources, we lost sponsorship and the lead researcher, so the work has stagnated.
We're still confident in the work, just found too many other shiny objects for the
time being, hopefully we'll get a new sponsor and get back to it.

All the uncleanliness sources are open and can be shared; however, much of the flow
data used for measuring/predicting is closed source so only abstractions can be
shared. If you're looking for anything in particular, please let me know and I'll
try to dig it up.

Thanks,
sid
