I'm sure you are all familiar with the "Hello, I'm from the Microsoft
support department. There is a problem with your computer."-type phone
scams.

There seems to be a new wave of them hitting our region. One of my
clever users was called up at home this morning, and played along, for
fun. He was directed to go to www.support.me, which redirects to
Logmein's Rescue service
(https://secure.logmeinrescue.com/helpdesk/howitworks.aspx).

He was then asked to log in with the access code 560032. This was no
longer functional when I tried it just now - "code has expired".

Does anybody have a contact at Logmein? It would be interesting to see
how far this can be traced.
