JobDesc:

I manage the Network Architecture, Engineering and Operations group at
LinkedIn. I am also responsible for Network Security at LinkedIn as well
as Peering. I also sit on security council at LinkedIn where I am part
of the team responsible for LinkedIn's ongoing security efforts. I am
also a hands on engineer which means I touch just about every Network
equipment and make changes to BGP routing policy changes. I also
implemented Arbor Networks solution for DDoS mitigation and currently
implementing our Darknet project. I have been involved in the Internet
industry for the past 15 years which included building 2 backbone
networks, WebEx and LinkedIn. In addition to my day job I am actively
involved in Internet development through my capacity as Chairman of SF
Bay Area chapter of the Internet Society, helping to preserve the open
model of the Internet.
