I am a network security expert responsible for the network security
operations with Deutschbahn / Germany Railways (~300.000 employees).
We are running the largest private IP network within Europe serving the
entire German Railways with network and network security services,
running at 3 dedicated Datacenters. We are hosting and protecting some of
the most visited websites in Germany.

I have the authorization to actively mitigate all network related threats
for our ASN and done so many time in the past. :-))
In the past I've analyzed and mitigated a range of attacks including DDoS
attacks. I have vast experience in combatting large scale DDoS attacks.
I also held talks about "detecting and mitigating network security threats"
on security conferences in Germany, for example:
