I did that once, to an engineer at our Community Access television program 
that no one liked all that well.  Crimped a video BNC, pin and all, on the
cut off, 1 foot long male end of an orange extension cord; threw it on the 
floor inside the back of the rack, and waited for the inevitable explosion.

I wasn't lucky enough to be there, but they told me it was pretty epic.
