There is probably a line over which people ought not to step when forwarding outage
notes to the list.  I don't know that the referenced message crosses it...

but for myself, I don't have any objection to people forwarding *carrier outage 
notification emails* to the list, but I question whether *internal company emails* 
on similar topics ought not to be summarized, rather than just forwarded; your
cow-orkers probably didn't expect their emails/addresses to leak to a public list.

Don't mean to put anyone specific on the spot, here...  just a thought.
