Hey,
if you are using either 3.lon or 4.lon (host -t TXT which.opendns.com
208.67.220.220) you will see this on RFC1918 PTRs:
host 10.1.1.1 208.67.220.220
Using domain server:
Name: 208.67.220.220
Address: 208.67.220.220#53
Aliases:

Host 1.1.1.10.in-addr.arpa not found: 2(SERVFAIL)

instead of NXDOMAIN.
