When you go to speedtest.net it goes to a website operated by Ookla.  If you
run a speed test it will find the "closest" speedtest server (typically
operated by an ISP) and hand off that IP address to your flash client so
that in the background you're really communicating with the remote speedtest
server.  If you want to avoid what may be going on at Ookla's website then
try to visit the web page of the specific speedtest server you want to use.
We share that URL liberally to our own customers.

I'm having trouble getting their speedtest.net site to load tonight, from
Road Runner Tampa Bay, on three separate browsers on two separate laptops.

Same symptom: it gets to "Loading 100%", and then, on a netbook on FF13 or
Chrome, it hangs there; on my Linux ThinkPad, I get a red message saying 
something about the configuration file not loading - I can't give exact 
language cause now the session is resetting on me.  New problem in this 
location and with this ThinkPad; never seen this before.

speedtest.speakeasy.net works fine, but is much slower (1-2Mbps) than the
RR Lightning line here (40-50Mbps) would lead me to expect, testing to ATL.
