Someone offline pointed this out to me:
The NYMEXT1/LGA11 site at 75 Broad continues to operate on stable generator
power, Internap said. UPS units are supplying conditioned generator power to
the critical infrastructure. The building continues to pump water out of the
sub-basement floors and access is limited for non-tenants. "There are
currently two delivery trucks onsite to replenish the fuel supply and we
will continue to bring in deliveries as needed until utility power is
restored."

So it looks like Zayo was focusing on it's own suite/location, but
referenced the entire building.

If Internap is up and running at 75 Broad then the building is not
dark.that's my point. That Zayo is not granted access, as they write,
refers more to a business/relational issue rather than technical.

Zayo probably has their POP outside of the Internap space. Squarespace
likely colos with Internap and could have remote hands doing their work.
That's a complete guess, but I believe that Internap is taking remote hands
requests for their customers at that location.
I'm also guessing that fuel pumps for generators aren't meant to operate
under water.

Why did Zayo write on their blog,
75 Broad, New York: Several customers have inquired as to the status of 75
Broad, while Zayo has a relatively limited presence in this location the
building has effectively "gone dark" and the landlords are unreachable.
Zayo has not been granted access to this site and despite continued efforts
to reach the building management no information is currently available.
Zayo will provide an update on this location as soon as information is
received.

Isn't this the same location that the buck brigade was carrying diesel fuel
up 17 flights of stairs? Why would Squarespace have access and Zayo not?
And why couldn't Zayo work with others who are physically onsite?
