[Outages-discussion] Download problems

We had three independent reports between 11:30 and noon (Central) today
(12/9/2015) of download issues.  One was a 5 GB file from Microsoft, one
from Dell, and one unknown.  Apparently the downloads would fail some way
through the process.  

I know it's really a stretch to even post this question -- I wish I could
have confirmed they were all Akamai CDN downloads or something, but just
don't have that info.
