[Outages-discussion] Verizon Europe voice issues

Hi,

Does anyone have voice links with Verizon? We have an SS7 link with Verizon in St. Denis France (suburb of Paris). The link has been down for close to 24 hours. After non stop escalation they are admiring they are having transition issues and it will take at least several hours to repair. Not sure why it takes a carrier like Verizon 24 hours to realize they have a big issue. Anyone else have such experiences with them?
