The flip side is that the concentration of services in "specialist"
hands makes it easier to attack a large number of companies at once.  If
PagerDuty ran their own DNS, they are not a likely target of an attack,
so would be unaffected.

"The Cloud" means you don't control your own destiny, and you share your
destiny with all the other cloudlings in your cloud.  Just like a
network that wants to be highly available needs mutiple connections to
multiple providers, people should consider using multiple cloud
providers when handing off critical services.
