Yeah, I’m top-posting, so sue me. :p

That it’s even a debate that any event that causes ISPs and I’m sure internal network groups (because people totally use FB in the office) to have an avalanche of phone calls just boggles the mind.

Yeah, error page, not reachable - does the average user consider that before calling for support? No.  No they do not.  They probably can’t even tell you what the error said.  This is totally relevant for this list.  Also love that the people that say calling about a handful of DIDs on some random provider posting that is totally relevant but one of the top websites in the world being down should not be reported here because “I don’t use FB” or some other nonsense.  Also love that they post those complaints on the main list and don’t see the irony of THAT nonsense...
