[Outages-discussion] CenturyLink Outages this morning

FYI, I am on the OG-AWS slackspace and I am getting reports that users in the KS/MO region are impacted by this outage as well. I know we established earlier that this is "probably" a nationwide outage, but we don't know exactly which territories are impacted yet, hence the email.

Since an hour has passed, has anything heard from CenturyLink on current status or next steps?

Just a data point, probably not of a hell of a lot of use.  We have a DIA link with them, which was up, getting full routes via BGP, and advertising our routes to the world.  Nothing from us made it past 2 hops into their network, and nothing from outside made it to us.  Assuming routes were being handled via RR through a different path than our data takes or something along those lines.

We are seeing a lot of centurylink circuits and services down this morning.



Centurylink Control Center portal comes up but auth failing unable to login



Waves down or bouncing

Denver - Seattle (Bouncing)

Denver - Chicago (Bouncing)

New York - Los Angeles (Down)

Chicago - Atlanta (Down)

ENNI Down in Denver (Down)



Still tying to open tickets with them there portal is not working and stuck on hold right now.
