I appreciated the joke.  (And then spent some time pondering whether we
might be living on a cube, which would justify the 8 confirmations of the
outage while still allowing for the obvious flatness we see around us.
Presumably this is why Brett said "every corner of the planet" rather than
specifying a number of corners?)
