[Outages-discussion] [EXTERNAL] [outages] Cellular Outage

I still find it incredibly coincidental that right before the outage began
I received an email from Google Fi, my old provider, saying they're sorry
to see me go, as if I had just left. I actually left a year ago. Then when
the outage really took off, my personal cell wasn't even talking to the TMO
towers, but my work cell--which has been TMO for years--seemed to never
lose connectivity to the towers. It was almost as if this were an issue
with the customer database getting hosed somehow, not just a network issue,
per se. It may have just been a coincidence, but the timing was pretty
strange.
