CMAS/WEA is only broadcast on the cellular over-the-air control channels.
WEA is not broadcast over WiFi, VoWIFI, IP streaming or any other channel.

This is "expected" and as designed by ATIS and GSM protocols.

Likewise, EAS is only broadcast on broadcast, cable and satellite radio
and television channels. EAS is not broadcast over Internet streaming
or VOD channels, unless in-band with the programming.

Again is "expected" and as designed by SBE and CableLabs protocols.

Some smart speakers (Amazon) include notifications for some severe
weather alerts. They do not carry other EAS/WEA alerts. Smart speakers
use proprietary protocols

Some search engines (Google) include some alerts on geographic search
terms. It seems to vary. They do not carry general EAS/WEA alerts.
