The partial fiber cut occurred as Level 3 Field Services were cutting a hand-hole into the duct as part of pre-implementation work for an upcoming fiber relocation. The Fiber duct was believed to have been empty and therefore, no impact was expected. Fiber splicing repair teams are still en route and have provided an estimated time for arrival (ETA) of 19:00 GMT.
