Transport - Unprotected Outage SA 1 hour Level 3 Communications
will prep and splice new cables. The fiber will be tested from the
Joliet ILA to 111 N. Canal. Other fibers in the span cut into the span
will not be tested. It will be up to the customer NOCC to verify the
system is working. Unrotected and dark fiber services will be down up to
1 hour.
Transport - Protected Switch Hits PSAH 50 ms Level 3
Communications will prep and splice new cables. The fiber will be tested
from the Joliet ILA to 111 N. Canal. Other fibers in the span cut into
the span will not be tested. It will be up to the customer NOCC to
verify the system is working. Protected services will be impacted by
switch hits.
